What is Mobremote?
Mobremote is a software which provides a virtual pathway for a remote user to execute commands on their computers. Users need not have any special or dedicated hardware to accomplish this task. A text-message capable phone and a gmail account is all that is required for you to use Mobremote. To send commands, users need to be in either India, United States of America or in Canada. Their computer can anywhere in the world!
From now onwards, you have the power of controlling your computer placed at some distant location connected to internet and having mobremote software installed up and running with it’s remote in your pocket.

A year since mobremote was released
Today Mobremote has completed it’s first year. It’s been a great journey so far. Thanks to all for their support .

New TRAI regulations
Recently, TRAI has made several changes in the form of restrictions on the usage of text messages. This also had an impact on Mobremote users, some of whom may not get expected responses on their mobile phones.
This generally occurs when a user’s cellphone is a part of national DND (Do-Not-Disturb) registry. To start receiving responses from Mobremote, deactivate DND either partially or completely.
Partial deactivation- send “start 6″ (without quotes) to 1909
Complete deactivation [recommended]- send “stop dnd” (without quotes) to 1909
Please note that you will still be able to send messages and control your computer, even if there are no responses from mobremote on your cellphone.
